Most of the ribs had lifted from the sound board from this old mendelssohn upright. We glued and clamped them back together with clamps made out of piano wire, tuning pins and pinblock wood.

Recently I tuned a white grand piano on the 10th floor studio of the CBC for the new years special of the Ron James show.

Tuned ‘er up for a fancy wedding at the Royal York. Looked nice at first but there were spilled drinks, melted wax and broken glass all over the inside of the piano.

I put on a new set of bass strings on the nice Schimmel at the Danforth Community Church. The Lion of Judah was checking my work.

I tuned this turn of the century Henry Miller 7 foot grand last week. It took up half the livingroom. They also had a beautiful old pump organ (in the back ground) and a Beta tape player (on the right)

i have tuned the paul hahn & co. 7 foot steinway a few times at the elgin theatre recently. that’s when i get a bit nervous. oof. image: on the stage with the curtains drawn.

i tuned for the polaris music awards and got to hear metric play a little number on the pianer. fun stuff.
